Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Installation - 2020 Chevrolet Blazer- Video
Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2020 Chevrolet Blazer and we're gonna be taking a look at, I'mma show you how to install the CURT seven-pole wiring harness. Adding a seven-pole wiring harness to your vehicle is gonna allow you to safely pull either four-pole trailers or seven-pole trailers. You just have to get an adapter if you're wanting to pull a four-pole trailer. But having the seven-pole on here is gonna allow you to pull those trailers with brakes, auxiliary batteries, and reverse lockouts. Your four-pole plug is where you're gonna get those other four functions from, and that is your left and right turn. more

Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2019 Chevrolet Blazer- Video
Hi there Blazer owners. Today, in your 2019 Chevrolet Blazer, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Tekonsha's T-One 7-Pole Vehicle Wiring Harness. This is what our wiring looks like when it's installed. That's right, it looks like it's just a factory old vehicle here, but if we remove our panel here at the bottom, by spinning the screws at the bottom counter-clockwise, we've got our receiver hidden behind it, as well as our 7-pole connector, conveniently hidden behind the panel here as well. This custom fit 7-pole wiring from Tekonsha is going to provide you with a standard 7-pole here at the back of the vehicle with all the outputs fully functioning, which will include all of your necessary lighting signals, such as your left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps, and brake lamps, your auxiliary lighting for your backup lights, as well as a charge line, your auxiliary power circuit. It does have outfits for a brake controller as well. more

Hi there, Blazer owners. Today in our 2019 Chevrolet Blazer, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Curt's 7-Pole Vehicle Wiring Harness. And this is what our wiring harness looks like when it's installed. That's right, it looks just like a factory vehicle, but if we remove our cover here, this will reveal our hitch as well as our wiring behind it. There's just two pins we just unthread, and here you can see hidden behind our panel, we have our receiver as well as our 7-pole connector. Included with your kit, you will receive your 7-pole connector as well as a custom-fit harness that plugs directly into the factory wiring located behind the bumper.What you don't get is the brackets to get it mounted up, because that's going to vary from the type of hitch that you have. more

Connor: Hey guys, this is Connor here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be looking at how to install our Tekonsha T-one vehicle wiring harness on our 2020 Chevy Blazer. The Tekonsha T-one vehicle wiring harness is an excellent option for this vehicle. It offers a complete plug and play installation and it's going to provide us with our basic trailer lighting functions, such as the stop, the turn signals, and the running lights. The Tekonsha T-one vehicle wiring harness has four pins here. These four pins are for the basic trailer lighting functions, which is going to be our most common trailer connector. Some trailers with trailer brakes are going to have a seventh hole, and there's also another harness for that if we need it.The Tekonsha T-one vehicle wiring harness is going to be secured here on the outside of the vehicle. more

Rob: Hey, everybody. Rob here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt T connector vehicle wiring harness for factory tow packages on our 2020 Chevrolet blazer. Now here's what our wiring's going to look like once we have it installed. It's going to provide us the four pole flat trailer connector, that way when we're towing a trailer with our blazer, we'll have all the lights that we need to get down the road safely and securely, like our tail lights, our stop lights and our turn signals. This is also going to provide us lights if we have any other kind of hitch mounted accessories like a cargo carrier that has external light kits or even a step, the wire is going to make it a lot easier to plug in rather than having to hard-wire any of those accessories.Now our wiring is designed to stay on the outside of the vehicle and they are going to provide us with a dust cap, which will keep all that dirt, debris and moisture out of the connector, hopefully preventing any kind of corrosion, but it's also going to help secure our four pole wiring to our hitch. That way, whenever we're not towing, it'll be right here ready for us when we need it. more

Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com and today you're going to be taking a look at the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for factory tow packages on our 2019 Chevrolet Blazer. Now here's what our wiring's going to look like once we have it installed. It is going to revise the four-pole flat trailer connector, so we can have all the lights we need to get down the road safely, like our taillights, our stoplights, and our turn signals.Our wiring is going to come with an included dust cap cover that we can use to help hold it up off the ground and use it, tie it directly to the safety chain connection point because our wiring is designed to stay on the outside of our Blazer at all times. But that's a nice thing because it will be ready for us whenever we hook up to tow. And even if you're not towing a trailer, if you have any other accessories at the back of your Blazer that has lights, our wiring is going to be able to provide us those signals, whether it's a cargo carrier that has those exterior lights on it, or even just a step, it's going to make it a lot easier to plug it in than hardwire everything. And since our wiring is designed for a factory tow package, we're not going to have to cut or splice any of our factory wires, it's just going to be one simple plug-in connection point right behind the bumper here.It's fairly easy to access once we remove this panel here. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 1996 Chevrolet Blazer- Video
Today on our 1996 Chevy Blazer, we will be installing the Draw Tite 4-pole flat hardwire kit, part # 18252. To begin our install, we will first locate the manufacturers two package wiring harness. It is located here behind the bumper structure near the spare tire. You can see it zip-tied in place. We will cut the zip tie and pull it down so that we can gain access to it. The wire is longer than we need so we are going to go ahead and cut off some length. We will then strip back a couple of inches of the outside protector and then locate the four wires that we need, noting that there are two white wires, one being the thicker of the two, the dark green wire, yellow wire and brown wire. more
